Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. I spent my weekend in Tremblant at a lovely little condo, where we had quick access to bike paths and a cute little swimming area. Good food and good laughs with good friends. What more can a girl ask for?
I have a lot of crazy fun ideas swimming around my head... some for projects, some for blog posts -- but today, you get the inspiration photos that I have been pinning regarding styling a piano!
Here's our piano.
Here's some inspiring eye candy.

Happy playing :)

I love all your inspiration photos, especially the yellow one. Are you thinking of painting it too?! I'm not sure what the rest of the room looks like, but I'm always a fan of a bold pop of color!
ReplyDeleteHi Whitney! Those painted ones are calling my name -- but honestly, the piano weights SO much, and it took a lot to squeeze it in the little spot next to the fireplace... I can't imagine the painting process. I think I'm leaning towards a giant piece of art on top instead of all my little pieces.
DeleteOooh, now I want a turquoise piano! I like the styling of the second-to-last piano best, with the large piece of art, lamp, and sea fan. I guess how you style yours depends on if you want a classic or quirky look. Maybe you could create your own piece of music art, which could be a mix of both classic & quirky.
ReplyDeleteThat is one beautiful piano! I agree with you and say leave it as it is and place an art on top of it. Can't wait to see what you do :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of painting a piano! I can't play to save my life but I think I would have to learn for that beautiful yellow number in the 2nd photo!
ReplyDeleteHi Meghan! My secret is that I don't know how to play either, but a free piano (found online!) means that I can pay for lessons :) Thanks for stopping by.
