Gift Guide for Dudes: Commuter Edition

Good morning!

Today we have another edition of my gift guide for dudes... for the men in our lives that are hard to shop for! I saved this list for last since the majority of these items would be available to last minute shoppers since we are only a week away from Christmas!

If you remember, I wanted to compile lists of actually good gifts... that shy away from the normal themes of shaving, golf and briefcases they'll never use. Over the past two weeks, I've shown you some fun, travel-themed gifts, dog-related gifts, and a compilation of graphic tees.

Today's edition focuses on the cyclists and runners on your list with some practical and fun, yet affordable gift ideas.

1 // Running Back Pack // $110
These fancy back packs are designed to move with you, not against you. There are many different options out there - so do your research. Many have detachable reservoirs to keep water handy depending on the length of commute. Most important? The fact that they are waterproof!

2 // Bicycle Wine Rack // $34
I bought this for a girlfriend and she adored it! Although not practical for the office... it's certainly practical for after work drinks!

3 // Double Layer Running Socks // $33 for a 3 pack
Although I am not a runner, I have heard that these babies are necessary for preventing blisters on long distance runs. They could be a welcome gift on Christmas morning instead of a Santa tie!

4 // Bicycle Diagram tee // $19.51
After last week's tee frenzy, I couldn't resist including this diagram tee for the bike enthusiast in your life.

5 // Cycling Pannier // $39
There are a bunch of different panniers, saddle bags and handlebar bags out there... do your research to see what your cyclist is looking for in their bag. I thought this one was affordable and a decent size.

I hope that I've helped you find something unique for the special guys in your life.

Gift Guide for Dudes: Tee Edition

Good morning!

Today we have another edition of my gift guide for dudes... for the men in our lives that are hard to shop for! This week's edition covers any man who wears t-shirts... which is all of them, right??

If you remember, I wanted to compile lists of actually good gifts... that shy away from the normal themes of shaving, golf and briefcases they'll never use. Over the past two weeks, I've shown you some fun, travel-themed gifts and dog-related gifts

Depending on the guy's taste... you can usually find affordable and interesting graphic tees (Etsy is a treasure trove!) My suggestion is to pay attention to their likes/dislikes... sports team tees are always a safe option, but if you know this guy is a child of the 80's and would kill for a Goonies' Never Say Die shirt... then you've just answered your own question.

Now, onto this week's list -- all about tees! I think they speak for themselves!!

1 // Dinosaur vs. Robot tee // $27.10

2 // Andy Warhol tee // $24.93

3 // Evolution of Zombies tee // $19.51

4 // Lettuce Turnip The Beet tee // $29.81

5 // Bill Murray tee // $22.76
I bought this one over the summer and I can speak to its great quality!

6 // Fresh Prince tee // $27.10

I hope that I've helped you find something unique for the special guys in your life.

Gift Guide for Dudes: Dog Edition

Good morning!

Today we have another edition of my gift guide for dudes... for the men in our lives that are hard to shop for! This week's focuses on the guys in your life that own a pooch!

If you remember, I wanted to compile lists of actually good gifts... that shy away from the normal themes of shaving, golf and briefcases they'll never use. Last week, I showed you some fun, travel-themed gifts.

You can always get something extremely practical... such as a mat that absorbs more water than you can possibly imagine... perfect for the front or back door OR for those dogs that get more water outside of their bowl than in their mouths...

Another idea would be a smart looking collar/leash combo ... always stylish OR something practical for the pup's stocking... poop bags or rawhides!

Hopefully the following ideas are fresh and interesting:

Depending on what kind of dog he owns... this artist might have the perfect frame-worthy print of his best friend! And who doesn't like gazing at a pup in glasses?

2 // BarkBox Subscription // starting at $29 for 1 month
Have you heard of this service before? From their site:

"When you sign up for BarkBox, every month you will receive a box in the mail with 4 or more carefully selected products and present for your dog - anything from toys, bones and all-natural treats to hygiene products and innovative new gadgets!"

And how sweet is it that a portion all proceeds go to rescue doggies? And you can personalize the box for the doggy by size and preference. You'll make the pooch and the man very happy!

3 // Graphic Tee // $17.29
Although I don't agree with the sentiment (cat lady 4 life, here!), I do think many dog-loving gents may find this graphic tee to be funny.

I hope that I've helped you find something unique for the special guys in your life.
